    An organization for landscape professionals promoting ecological practices. ELA member companies can be located on their website, but are not reviewed or endorsed as a part of membership.

Statewide Organizations

  • Mass Wildlife Natural Heritage & Endangered Species Program
    The Program's highest priority is protecting the 176 species of vertebrate and invertebrate animals and 259 species of native plants that are officially listed as Endangered, Threatened or of Special Concern in Massachusetts.

  • Mass Audubon
    The conservation section of the Mass Audubon website has great information about Massachusetts birds and butterflies, and a range of resource materials about wildlife and ecological issues.

  • The Trustees of Reservations
    The Trustees steward over 100 properties around the Commonwealth, all great places to explore. Some are seeking volunteers to help manage invasive plants.
